Getting married and having a family is always something I've desired. Above all the other things I want to be when I "grow up," being a Mom is at the very top of my list. In fact, during my Junior year of high school we were asked to fill out a paper that asked numerous questions, one being "what do you want to be when you get older?" The answer I wrote down: a Mom. And that answer still stands true to this day.
However, with all that being said, there is something I desire to have before I get married & start a family. It's a 'must' in my book. Something that has nothing to do with a career, husband, or a family. Something for me and only me.
A Bachelorette pad
A place that I can decorate how I want. With feminine colors, lines and accent pieces. A warm, cozy and 'homey' space. A place I can call my own home, and know that it's all mine. With no one to clean up after, mess things up or decide they want to redecorate. A place that is mine all mine.
Is that too much to ask for?
Not at all!!! I love all of these pictures and dream the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted my own place too. Right now I have the whole basement of my parents house to myself and we call it "the woman cave" instead of "the man cave." It's probably the closest I'll get to having my own bachelorette pad so I'll take it!
ReplyDeleteoh my...this is so great! I totally had this....and the best part is that when I moved in and my dad came over to set up my internet connection, he named the network Bachelorette Pad! TOO FUNNY! I actually just gave up my bachelorette pad after 3.5 years and moved in with my boyfriend last month....it was sad to leave but I'm so glad I had that awesome place for so long!

Oh man, that's something I wish I had. Not that I don't love living with Craig and Toby. But sometimes I wish I had had my own place. Sigh. But I love what you picked out :)
